WHAT IS JOBGAUGE

Jobgauge (pronounced 'Job Gauge') can be used to create "jobs". A job activity is where you enter a name, start it and when you are done with whatever you're working on you can simply stop it from its notification button. If you decide you don't want to save this job, simply cancel it from the same notification. Once a job is started in the notification bar the app can be minimized. It will keep running until the running job is stopped/saved, cancelled or the app itself is closed.

The "jobs" are simply just 30-character long names that are saved with their timestamps on your current date and time. From the main screen you can select a date and load the jobs saved on that date along with the amount of time you've spent on doing each one of them. The job durations are minute accurate and stored as HHHH:MM in the database.

If you recorded a job by mistake, or don't want to keep its record, simply delete it with the Delete button on each job entry on the Tracker screen.

ANALYSING THE DATA

An additional (in-app purchase - buyable) feature is the Analytics built in Jobgauge. It is a screen where you can pull up both a chart and text based report for total amount of time you spent on your top activities. You can filter the top 'N' numbers loaded along with the year (annual data) or both the month-year (monthly data) as per your choice. This greatly helps you in understanding the activities where you are spending most of your time, and plan your routine accordingly!

REMINDERS

With ver1.4 comes the "Reminders" feature. Users can now set reminders for particular times of the day and choose if it notifies only once or daily at the same time. The notifications are mild and non-distracting, and reminders that are set to run ONCE are automatically removed the next time the user opens the Reminders section.

This app is targeted at people who feel the need to organize their daily routine and become excellent in time management. After all, time is the most important thing in the world.. isn't it?

The app has two themes - LIGHT and DUSK that you can change from the menu.
