S M Sehgal Foundation in collaboration with Bayer Crop Science Ltd is implementing the project namely ‘Samagra Krishi Pariyojana’ (Holistic Agriculture Scheme). The project will initiate agricultural interventions in 25 villages of East Champaran district of Bihar.
The interventions aim at (1) improving agricultural productivity through solar water irrigation, farm mechanization, nursery raising, promoting kitchen gardening, crop demonstrations and diversification; (2) livelihood and livestock management through animal nutrient management, goatery promotion, and health camps; and (3) training and capacity building of farmers.
