It is from the grace of God - to whom all praise and thanks are due - that he facilitated for our eminent Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Uthaymeen - may God Almighty have mercy on him - an explanation of (the Forty Nawawi) by Al-Hafiz Muhyiddin Abi Zakaria Yahya bin Sharaf Al-Nawawi, who died in the year 676 AH - may God cover him with His vast mercy and satisfaction, and make him dwell in His spacious Paradise. May God reward him with goodness on behalf of Islam and Muslims, in the scientific session that he held - may God Almighty have mercy on him - in his university in the city of Unayzah in the summer of the Hijri year.
