Empowering farmers in K’taka to upload their crop info on their own

Using the “Farmer Crop Survey Mobile App” the farmer on his own or through any of his friends can upload the crop information pertaining to his field. Farmers can enter details of Kharif crops standing on the ground. The farmer’s app will lead to empowerment of farmers and they will have their voice in letting Government know as to what they have grown.

The farmers of Karnataka are requested to avail the opportunity and provide the crop data so that State Government can help farmers.

Salient feature of the mobile app

• Except at the time of downloading the app and uploading of the crop information, internet connection is not required

• Provides Survey number wise map of his land

• Farmer can enter Single or mixed crops with the extent of the crops along with photos of the crops

• Connects to Bhoomi system to get farmers names and their extent

• Can seed his land with AADHAAR details.
