落合博満とは元プロ野球選手、プロ野球監督。
1982年に史上最年少（28歳）で初の三冠王に輝き、1985年、1986年は2年連続での三冠王を獲得（史上初の三冠王3度達成）。
1994年から巨人に移籍、長嶋茂雄監督率いるチームの2度のリーグ優勝に4番打者として貢献した。
