Ninjutsu can sometimes be replaced with the word being ninpō. Ninjutsu is a martial arts, strategy, and tactics on the battlefield and guerrilla conducted by the shinobi (also called Japanese-made as a Ninja). Ninja Women called Kunoichi. Currently there are some modern styles of this martial art, according to Koryu.com, not all variations are related to the history of ninjutsu in Japan which was formerly called koryū.

The main character nin consists of two characters. The upper character of yaiba means "the edge of the sword", and the lower character of kokoro means "soul" or "heart". Kanji 刀 means "sword" or "blade", Kanji 刃 means "edge of sword." If the two kanji are combined it means "infiltrating", "secrecy", "endurance", and "persistence". Jutsu means "art" or "technique". Pō means "knowledge", "principle" when combined with affix "nin" has the meaning of ninja art, higher than ninjutsu. The current view is that ninjutsu is only about secrecy and infiltration. However, practitioners from the field of ninjutsu said that ninjutsu is necessary for us to gain resilience to face the hard life.

There is a common misconception that ninjutsu is a combination or mixture of some Japanese martial arts, eg karate mixed with aikido, judo, kendo and others. This thinking is wrong, because ninjutsu itself existed long before karate entered from Okinawa to Japan and there are also long before Judo and Aikido were created.

The training in Ninjutsu encompasses almost countless scenarios, which is one of the reasons why military and security forces around the world have members in our ranks, including British SAS England Special Force, Royal Marines, United States Navy Navy Seals and FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), and several other names.

What makes Ninjutsu different from most other martial arts is that it is not a sport. No contests, no trophies or prizes to memorize 'word' or landing point in sparring matches. Instead, Ninjutsu focuses on real-life scenarios, with an emphasis on true effectiveness and application in actual combat.

What is learned here is Ninpo Sanjurokei (36 art ninpo) consisting of Ninja juhakei (18 Art Ninja) and Bugei Juhappan (18 arts of soldiership). In short the exercise method is the synergy between the bare hands and the weapon as a whole, so it is not a separate exercise.
