For us, every book (or comic) that we propose, should be an app in itself, it is a way to remember the value of the book as an object will always remain a "unique" and not a product without a soul. In this app ABROAD by Thomas Crane & Ellen Houghton. This book contains beautiful chromolithograph illustrations. The children`s poetry and stories are of Mabel and Rose traveling through France. An excellent example of the styles and architecture around the time period of 1882.

The illustrations are superb. The stories, of course, are of period, and the accompanying observations are typical of the Victorian age.
