AirGap is a solution designed to reduce unwanted personal data collection by smart home devices. The AirGap mobile client works in conjunction with the AirGap appliance. The system tailors the presence of your home network to ONLY when it's needed, keeping it off when it's not. Much like turning on a light when you need it and turning if off when you don't, the system keeps your home network OFF when no one is home, OFF when you're sleeping, and if you're not streaming a movie or using the internet, the network is OFF.

The system uses a 1/2 mile geofence around your home. When the last phone leaves the geofence the network shuts down, and when the first phone returns the network is restored.
