The history of Al- Durra activities goes back to the 1940's, and began with one product - "Kamardene" (apricot sheets) which were all hand-made. It wasn't until 1979 that the company began to introduce different products in which to satisfy the local market, as it realized that the consumer had changed their eating habits and were ready for something new.

Al-Durra factory now occupies 15000 sq meters which includes our laboratory fully equipped with the latest technology to meet with food standards and holds all the necessary certificates including Haccp -ISO 22000 and ISO 9001, all this with our dedicated staff of over 1700 and a fleet of 50 vehicles for distribution and marketing means Al-Durra company is a force to be reckoned with, and a brand name that is now recognized throughout the Middle East and now enjoying huge successes in the Western World.
