Dictionnaires Steingass et Hayyim persan-anglais avec liste de mots personnelle

Steingass and Hayyim are two of the most referred Persian-English dictionaries around the world. This app offers access to both these online dictionaries hosted by DSAL and DDSA (University of Chicago). Users can lookup in either Steingass, Hayyim or both dictionaries simultaneously.

While translating a document, we often need to search and revisit the same words multiple times in order to extract correct meaning of a complex sentence. To facilitate this, Anuvaadak offers back and forward navigation for recently accessed word searches which enables the translator to focus on getting the exact meaning.

The facility to search within word definitions allows limited level of reverse searching, for e.g., search for 'diamond' with 'Search headwords only' option set to off will give all word definitions containing the word 'diamond'.

It also allows creation of a personal offline word-list for quick lookup. Searched words can be saved automatically after perfoming the search or manually, as per the chosen setting. Saved words can be relooked anytime later.

Search results are not altered in anyway and are exactly the same as those shown on the DDSA and DSAL powered website (https://dsal.uchicago.edu/dictionaries) for Steingass and Hayyim dictionaries.
