The bathroom offers up a different problem. Drapes and curtains will soak up moisture in the air from the bathroom and become musty and eventually go moldy. Then you will be spending more trying to keep the curtains cleaned than anything else.

The best way to make sure you have the right size curtains for the bathroom window when the window is close to the toilet is by measuring. The curtain should cover the window completely, above, on the sides, and below. You should measure for about one to inches above the window frame and about two inches on each side and just below the window sill on the bottom.
