The story of Bleach begins in 2001 in Japan in the fictitious city of Karakura. Ichigo, 15 years old high school student, comes to see, hear and touch the souls of the dead since he was very young. One evening, her daily routine comes to be overwhelmed following her encounter with a shinigami, Rukia, and the coming of a monster called hollow. The latter having come to devour the souls of his family and the shinigami come to protect him having been wounded by his fault, Ichigo agrees to become himself a shinigami in order to save them.

However, the transfer of power, which is supposed to be temporary and partial, is complete and does not end. Ichigo is forced to take responsibility for the task of Rukia. He begins hunting hollows while protecting human souls...
