Lee Jun-fan (Chinese: ???; 27 November 1940 - 20 July 1973), known professionally as Bruce Lee, is an actor, director, martial artist, Hong Kong philosopher and founder and founder of martial arts Jeet Kune Do. Lee moved to the United States at the age of 18 to receive higher education, at the University of Washington, in Seattle [9] and it was at this time that he began to teach martial arts. Films produced by Hong Kong and Hollywood produced traditional Hong Kong martial arts films to a new level of popularity and recognition, which sparked a surge in interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s. Lee holds dual citizenship in Hong Kong and the United States. He died in Kowloon Tong on July 20, 1973 at the age of 32 years.
