Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India Mission is a national campaign by the Government of India which was started by the Prime Minister Of India, Narendra Modi on 2nd of october,2014, covering 4041 statutory towns, to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India Mission was launched as a national campaign by the Indian Government covering 4041 statutory towns aiming maintained cleanliness of streets, roads and infrastructure of the country. Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has officially launched this mission on 2nd of October (the birth anniversary of the Mahatma Gandhi) in 2014 at the Rajghat, New Delhi (cremation place of Bapu). While launching the event Prime Minister himself had cleaned the road. It is the biggest cleanliness drive ever in India when approximately 3 million government employees including students from schools and colleges took part in the cleanliness activities.

Our mission is to make our areas clean. As we belong from the technology field, we created this app to track the movement and to contribute in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. This is an initiative by a few GIMT, Guwahati (Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati) students hoping that this will become one of the best app for all the college going students to contribute in this mission-Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

This is our nation and its our responsibility to make this mission happening one. CleanAge app will help each and every individual to track the activities or make a slot for your own class of your College. This is the first app which deals with real time activities in this mission. CleanAge is very promising and this will help to grow the Clean India mission.

About CleanAge App

CleanAge app is designed by a few students of GIMT,Guwahati keeping the mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in mind. This is a real time tracking system where College students can directly involve with this mission. The design of the application is very simple and very motivating towards society and national mission..

People can upload filth area images into our app. College/Organizations/NGOs can register into our app, select a filth area for a particular team and can perform Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. CleanAge app also uses Before-After juxtaposition, Global Positioning System,etc.

Our motive is to inculcate cleanliness drive in the college curriculum. To promote cleanliness among college students by helping them participate in the cleanliness drive for atleast once a year.

This is an initiative by the students of GIMT, Guwahati.
