Clicker Training Tips !

Clicker training is an approach that teaches specific behaviors to animals by focusing on operant conditioning. When we train an animal through operant conditioning, we want the animal to learn from what happens after it performs specific behaviors.

We want the animal to learn from behavioral consequences. Clickers are not meant to be used as stand-alone training devices. People who rarely give out treats (when using clickers) will find out soon enough that the sound of the device is not enough to shape an animal’s behavior.
