Everyone is aware of the huge negative press surrounding the use of social media & texting whilst driving.

New UK legislation just increased the fines & doubled points (from 3 to 6) for those caught. This means instant loss of licence for Learners.

The solution is an App - we've called it "DAPPER” or the "Drivers App for Electronic Responsibility" - we love driving so we're presenting the App in the style of a number plate & going with D4PP3R.

It turns on automatically when you reach 15 mph and blocks all incoming noises & most vibrations from calls, text, pop-ups, alerts, messaging Apps and social media.

The App stays on your screen and nothing gets through.

You drive undistracted.

If you're a passenger (or on a train) you can turn the App off & use your phone as normal. When you stop driving - it turns off automatically & everything that was sent to you is there, ready & waiting. The difference being it didn't distract, bother or interrupt your concentration whilst you were driving.

If you drive professionally this is a game changer & a massive benefit - it's the bells & whistles that make you glance down & then - respond. To continue - it's not illegal to receive calls hands free so an option exists within settings to allow calls from specific people only ( e.g. Your boss, wife, kids )... everything else is still blocked.

Another option allows incoming calls only if the App can detect you are connected to a blue tooth device (like your car or an earpiece).

Smart analytics record time and precisely when & where the App is activated & deactivated, number of calls / texts blocked etc When someone calls you they get an auto reply text message that tells them you are driving.

This App will save lives, incidents and accidents.

This App improves driving concentration & therefore will reduce insurance claims & travel delays for all drivers & road users.

Trouble Shooting D4PP3R

Operation & control of your vehicle remains your sole responsibility regardless of whether the App is activated, working or not working. We recommend all App capabilities and functions are only used when the vehicle is parked with the engine turned off. Use of your device whilst driving or idling is illegal & could result in fines, points or arrest by the authorities.

1 ) if the App is not displayed on your home screen after activation your device may have "locked" - unlock then swipe D4PP3R Status from off to on. This may PIN the screen.

2 ) To UNPIN the screen : press & hold the recents & back keys for a few seconds ( bottom left & bottom right buttons - either side of your home button ).

SETTINGS

All permissions must be ON to get full functionality . Editing those options allows preferences to be customised but may reduce capabilities.

Set Up :

Auto Driving Mode allows the device to turn the App ON & OFF based on your speed of movement.

The App switches OFF after you have been travelling less than 15 mph for 5 minutes. This stops the App from turning off every time you arrive at traffic lights.

If you arrive, park & turn your vehicle off - Swiping D4PP3R Status from ON to OFF will skip the need for automation of that step and your device will immediately be ready to use.
