Gameplay-wise, Dantes Escape is all about escaping from a really bad dream and battling monsters along the way. Because it is a dream, anything can happen! Like, you hit a monster with your sword and the floor swallows him up. If you happen to get really hurt, you simply start the scene again, with all of your special skills and companions.

You can really play the entire game without spending any money. If you want to add a companion, to make it more fun, this costs some money.
