1. In one large cardboard, you need to chalk out 12 small boxes with the help of four rows and three columns. 2. You should also make sure that the first and the third columns share an equal size. The size should stay at par with the desired length that you want to keep for a box. 3. Let us look at the rows now. The size of the second row must have a size that is equal to the height of the box. The extra strip of cardboard protruding out must have a size that is equal to the height of the second row.

4. The height of the first row and third row must stay equal. The second and the fourth columns should have a width that is exactly half the length of the rows.

5. Cut thoroughly between the columns in the third row and the first row. This will allow you to make several flaps both on the top as well as the bottom of the corrugated cardboard. In this way, one single strip will stay in the middle. The next thing that you need to do is fold all the flaps in to the middle because that will create a crease bordering the edge of the second row. You need to fold back the flaps outside again. Pay attention on making a crease on the piece that is jutting out of the grid by folding it inside the grid. You should also keep folding the box into sections that will allow you to create an extra crease lengthwise among the columns. Open up all the folds so that the entire cardboard is flat again.

6. Your next agenda is to make a closed rectangle which has open flaps on either side of the box. In doing so, take the piece of cardboard that juts out, and attach it to the inner edge of the opposite side. Pack the box with tape on both the sides. The flaps on one end must stay closed by folding them in short ends. Pull the lengthwise flaps so that they meet one another, and tape them together.

7. Flip the side that you just taped and keep the other side open so that your corrugated cardboard box is ready.
