DJ Diamond "Americas Favorite DJ" Born in Brooklyn, DJ Diamond began his Hip-Hop career at age 8 when introduced to two turntables and a mixer. At age 13, he relocated to Brentwood, Long Island and began establishing himself as a the "go-to" party DJ in the area . While rocking these parties, he befriended a local rapper named Eric Sermon. After teaming up with Parish Smith, the Hip-Hop super group EPMD was formed. After a gold debut album, and rigorous touring schedule, Diamond decided to expand his horizons. Being competitive by nature, DJ Diamond entered the battle scene and found his niche. After winning several titles, he was awarded the prize of a lifetime...Diamond was asked to be the tour DJ for Prince and the New Power Generation. This position afforded Diamond the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Patty Labelle, Madonna, Bono of U2, Lenny Kravitz and Carmen Elektra to name a few.
