PATCH NOTES | ELDEN RING

General Information

Patch Notes for Elden Ring contains information on changes and fixes that are deployed by the game's developer, FromSoftware. These patches are free and delivered online via Playstation Network, Xbox Live or Steam, and often address balance, performance and localization issues.

What do Elden Ring notes do?

Some notes will even tell you what path you should take to find something and give you the name of the area where an item or NPC might be. It helps if you know where to find all map fragments. This way, you will be able to quickly find the place mentioned in the Notes that you have acquired.

What's new in Elden Ring?

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have released patch 1.03 for Elden Ring, and it's a biggie. Headline changes include map tracking for characters you've met, new questlines, a new NPC, and a slew of balance adjustments — including what appears to be a nerf for the all-powerful Mimic Tear ash — and bug fixes.

What version is Elden Ring on?

It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022. Elden Ring is presented through a third-person perspective, with players freely roaming its interactive open world.

Should I forgive patches Elden Ring?

Patches' Location in Elden Ring. Patches will surrender after approximately a quarter to half of his health is left. If you forgive him and attack him right afterwards, you can let him kill you or have you beg for mercy and you will receive the Extreme Repentance gesture.

Will Elden Ring have a map?

Unlike with other games, in Elden Ring you have access to the map from the very beginning. Though the details on it will be “locked”. You will only see major roads and points of interest will be marked on it as you discover them.

Elden Ring has patched an exploit on PC that hackers used to trap players in endless cycles of death. In the patch notes for update 1.03. 2, game publisher Bandai Namco says it includes a fix for “a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates.”

・Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum

・Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect

・Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates
