The Ecological Society of America (ESA) is the world’s largest professional organization of ecological scientists. ESA’s members work in academia, government, and the private sector to improve society’s understanding of life on Earth. ESA’s Annual Meeting is held each August and draws more than 3000 professional ecologists from around the world to participate in scientific presentations, symposia, workshops, poster sessions, field trips, and a trade show.
