Furdy helps to break down complex tasks into single steps.

The free version includes the Task-schedule function where photos can be taken and get assigned to an instruction. An instruction can exist of text or a voice recording. This allows to break down complex tasks into individual and easy-to-understand steps. For example, making food. The appropriate steps could be: "Fill water into the pot", "Place the pot on the stove", "Add salt ...", etc. Every action has his own picture and instruction whereby tasks will be executed step by step.

FURDY (Full Version) was originally developed by a cooperation between the study course "Barrierefreie Systeme" of the Frankfurt University in Germany and day-care centre for people with autism to help them communicate with each other. During the development, we recognized that with the growing complexity of the app, the scope of the application areas also grew. Thus, the app is no longer suitable only for people with an autism spectrum disorder.
