Online Stores do not substitute your physical store, it does complement it! The main advantage of the Online Stores is (1) Prices are lower because you, as the owner have a significant reduction of operational costs such as rent, staff, season decoration, security, street parking, etc. (2) If you "reduce your costs" then you can "reduce your prices" and become more competitive. (3) Finally, your physical store can only reach a define neighborhood, while the online store can reach the entire city, the entire country and most of the civilized world. (4) Opening an online store will take you a week with minimum or no investment at all.

Now let's talk about the weaknesses of the online stores. First, if you are not fast enough answering your client's messages or if you do not like be stick to the phone all the time, online store are not for you! Some clients need answers at 10 PM or demand to close a deal at 2:00 AM in the morning, that will never happen with the physical store. On the other hand, online stores require the use of credit or debit cards, if your clients pay cash, online stores won't work for you.
