As you age, your hearing abilities decline so that you are less able to hear high pitched sounds. This means that these high pitched sounds are effortlessly heard by young people, but not so easily detected by older generations. Test your hearing (or your parents’ hearing!) with these high frequency noises! You can even use these sounds as ringtones. Just think, if your parents can’t easily detect sounds at this pitch, you could set a stealthy ringtone that they won’t hear, even if you’re in the same room!
