About the app

Health and safety risks come in various forms on a construction site. The ImmerSAFEme app uses the power of virtual reality (VR) to get you orientated safely, so that you can identify potential hazards before an incident occurs.

What you need:

This app has been designed to be experienced on a VR supported mobile using a headset like Google Cardboard glasses. The immersive nature of the app requires enough space to look around in 360o and engage with the environment.

Duration of free trial:

This release has limited functionality and is part of a free trial hosted by the ImmersafeMe team. It is available to download, and all the modules within the vertical construction library are free to use and experience until the end of March 2022.

Features of free trial:

Choose from a range of VR training modules and be guided through different phases of a construction site, including:

- Superstructure lower

- Façade / roof

- Interiors

- Defects and handover

- Site set-up

- Excavation and foundations

- Superstructure higher

Investigate the site and practice identifying some of the common hazards that may be present: faulty or broken fall protection, improper fall prevention set-up, misuse of PPE, ladder safety issues, scaffolding issues and so much more.
