Jalyukt Latur

"Jalyukt Latur", is the initiative of the people, by the people and for the people of Latur to solve the water crisis.

It has been led by the Art of Living and RSS Jankalyan Samiti and supported by Indian Medical Association (Latur), Vyapari Mahasangh various NGOs, social groups and the people of Latur.

The project aims to rejuvenate the river Manjra by deepening the two barrages by 3 metres on 18 Kms length and 80 mtrs width of Manjra river.The cost of the project is around Rs.9 crores. Once completed, the project shall be sufficient to provide water to meet the needs of the people.
