Jhansi Mahotsav 2020

Jhansi Mahotsav est un grand festival culturel d'une semaine de la ville intelligente Jhansi.

Jhansi Mahotsav is a grand week-long cultural festival celebrating heritage and legacy of smart city Jhansi- the land of Rani Laxmi Bai and hockey legend Dhyan Chand. The festival, being jointly organized by the district administration and UP tourism board, would be held in Jhokan Bagh from 25th January 2020 to 31st January 2020.

The district administration plans to decorate Rani Laxmi Bai’s fort with lights which would enhance the glitter of the city as well the festival.

The festival campaign would be based on 7-day pillars of city Jhansi with each day focused on one pillar. The themes covered are: woman empowerment, defense and bravery, education sector, health sector, agriculture sector, swachh jhansi and Heritage and cultures respectively.

Dance performances, music recitals, and drama shows would be the highlight of the event and showcase a glimpse of things this historic city offers.

Jhansi Mahotsav would also host handicrafts fair through which local artists, as well as artisans from different parts of the country, can avail the opportunity of selling their produce to the attendees.
