A Natural Way to Create Calendar Events

JifiCal is all about managing your favorite calendar app in a most natural manner. JifiCal uses state of the art natural language understanding technology to understand your requests and your text conversations to create events and reminders in your calendar.

All you need to do is to open the JifiCal App and make a request. This could be something simple like: “Remind me to call john tonite at 8” or “I need to Pick up Joe from school after work next Monday.”

Or it could be something as complex as “I am going to London next month. I will have breakfast with John there on the 19th at the Ritz.” For the super organized among you, you could even say “I’ll meet Mary for 30 mins every Wed morning at 8 for the next 3 months.” JifiCal understand your intent and do the rest.

Not only this, you can even try out JifiCal on your favorite messaging App to create calendar events/reminders from your conversations related to meetings, appointments, paying bills, turning things on and off, buying something or picking up someone. Just tap on JifiCal icon while viewing a conversion, and JifiCal will automatically extract relevant information from the conversation and create an entry for your calendar.

So how does it work?

JifiCal understands time – JifiCal understands almost all time expressions that we use it on our daily life such as “Tomorrow Morning”, “Next Month”, “Friday evening at 8” as well as complex time expression like “The second day of Thanksgiving.”.

It understands activity – JifiCal knows about common activities in our daily life. Be it meeting, calling, picking-up, dropping-off, wishing, giving, attending, paying, informing and much more. JifiCal understands almost all of them.

It understands people – JifiCal can figure out names of people in your life, especially, if they are in your contacts. So you need not manually add participants in your calendar event. JifiCal will do it for you. Of course if there is any ambiguity, it will get it resolved by giving you potential options to choose from.

It understands places – JifiCal know about most places of interest; locations like malls, restaurants, cities, states and countries.. So whenever you mention a location, JifiCal recognizes it and includes it in your calendar event .
