Kaaba; In Mecca it is a structure accepted as a qible in the Islamic religion. It is in the middle of the courtyard of the great mosque called Harem-i Sharif by Muslims. In terms of being in the form of a cube, the structure that takes the name of the Kaaba is actually not a complete cube. Two walls are 12 meters long and the other two walls are 10 meters long. Height is 15 meters.

The Kaaba is made of black stones brought from the surrounding mountains of Mecca. There is only one door 2.5 meters high from the ground. The door is gilded, silver-plated, with a special staircase of wooden wheels. The Kaaba, consisting of a single room, has three pillars. The dam is based on these posts. There is also a ladder to go to the checkers. There are various gold and silver lamps inside. The walls are covered with marble. There is a sacred stone called Hacer-i Esved near the door outside. Hacer'i Esved, 1.5 meters high from the ground, was surrounded by a circle of several small pieces, three of them large. Beyond Hacer-i Esved there is another stone called Hacer-i Es'ad. The haji rides his hands alone.

The top of the Kaaba is covered with a black cover that changes every year. The word-i şehâdet is processed on this veil that has descended to the top. There is a gold embroidered ribbon on it. The Qur'an's surahs are written on this lane. The veil was sent by the Ottoman sultans in Egypt, and it was begun to be wrapped in Istanbul.

The Kaaba is surrounded by about 30 thin columns. Every night between these columns, a candle burns. Just outside the columns are small structures like Makama Hanesi, Makam-i Hanbeli, Makam-i Mâliki, Makam-i Ibrahim and Makam-i Shafii, Library, Muvakkithane and the building on the Zemzem Well.
