Campaign to repopulate and extinguish overfishing

All collected photos will be used to build a large mosaic, representing a healthy marine ecosystem and trying to symbolize how our oceans could be if everyone join together to preserve them. This symbolic campaign will request respect for the objective of the Common Fisheries Policy to restore and maintain fish stocks above sustainable levels, during the next December Council in Brussels.

EU Fisheries Ministers meet every year to get an agreement on fishing limits for the main commercial species in the Atlantic. Unfortunately, scientific advice is not always followed in these Councils.

Protecting fishery resources and marine environment is the only way to achieve sustainable fisheries.
