Magic64 predicts the future with computer code.

Magic64 holds 20 different solutions to your questions, as with a traditional Magic8 ball, but uses computer code rather than English to reply.

Computer code used in this app holds similar functions to the answers in the original Magic8 ball, and are fragments of the code used to make the program for the app itself. By displaying the logical language of the code in order to fulfil an illogical process - ie. the desire of the user to predict the future - the clash between human hopes and desires against the unemotional nature of binary computational processes is revealed. In an increasingly digitised world, individual human destinies become more and more dependent on computer algorithms, yet the emotional desires, hopes and faith of human beings remains.
