“What would MERL do” is the motto I have lived by ever since I could hold a hammer. Growing up I soaked up every bit of knowledge I could from my father, Merlin “Merl” Olson, who was a master carpenter and professional educator. In my professional career I have encountered obstacles, including situations that compromised integrity and quality. During these times I had to ask myself…“What would MERL do” The answer was always the same – never compromise quality for anything, including time and money. My father taught me to take pride in every project and to treat every home like it was my own. With this in mind, it was easy to decide what the building blocks for MERL Renovations would be: Integrity, Pride, and Loyalty. - Brady Olson, Owner
