Born in Iowa, raised in Missouri! Missouri is where I call ‘home;’ however, most of my family, other than my parents, still live in Iowa. I grew up simple. My parents always taught me it wasn’t about the material things, rather the love found in our hearts, and the drive we have to get where we want to go. My dad, since I can remember, has been the entrepreneur, the go getter, the dreamer. My mom, the supporter, dreamer, peace maker. Put them together, and you have ME! They raised me to be strong and independent. They taught me that no one will ever make things happen for you, YOU have to make things happen for YOU.

Fast forward a few years, life happened. I found myself in a situation I was NOT proud to be in, nor was I happy. But I was blinded by the ‘vision’ I thought was ‘right.’ You know, the one that everyone is taught… graduate, go to College, find your soulmate, get married, have babies, and stick by your man through thick and thin. Over the course of the next 5 years, I found myself being belittled, yelled at, accused, kept away from my friends and family, and so insecure, I didn’t even know who I was anymore. Until the day I did. Until the day I stood up, filed for divorce, and made plans to MAKE a better future.

After a few years of soul searching, hard work, dedication, so much help from my parents, and 4 amazing eyes looking up to me to be their hero every day, I have found ME again. I WILL make sure my children have everything they ever dreamed of, I WILL make sure I have everything I have ever dreamed of, I WILL make my parents proud, and above all, I WILL NOT quit reaching for the top. What I went through, was awful, but the outcome, is incredible. I just want to help people be their best ‘ME.’
