mk-sense is a life logging application to boost global research.

mk-sense, life logging application, grants researchers across globe to information on your smartphone. The information collected from the smartphones are used for scientific research especially in ambient assisted living domain, and to develop and test cutting-edge techniques and technologies.

mk-sense gathers sensory information, communication information as well as information directly from the user via sound recording and surveys. The information collected by the application is preprocessed on the smartphone for privacy concerns to remove critical information that may be used to identify the user. Another level of privacy protection is provided by the fact that the data storage is not directly accessible by the researchers.

mk-sense does not provide identifiable call history, and message contents to the researchers in any form.
