MobiLPR, powered by MobiNET™, turns your Android device’s camera into an Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system that is integrated with Security Center’s AutoVu™ plugin. With subscription, you are able to complement or eliminate the necessity of the expensive License Plate Recognition cameras and other connectivity hardware. It opens traditional ALPR solutions to new features such as alerting nearby users, live streams, alerts, and external Android accessories.

One of the requirements of traditional ALPR is the requirement of high-end License Plate Recognition cameras that perform the license plate recognition on-board, and send the information to Security Center servers for verification. Usually, this system also involves the use of expensive equipment that require installation by qualified technicians and further complicated by wear and tear in vehicles that are constantly in-use and exposed to the weather. Traditional LPR owners constantly encounter increasing costs, reduced technology lifespans, and network connectivity challenges. MobiLPR, powered by MobiNET™ seeks to solve all of these issues.
