THE PRIVATE ISLAND

At MM 50 this Island is a ¼ mile off the Atlantic shore of Marathon. On the private island sits a dream come true getaway home with 5000+ square feet of living area including a 2700 square foot veranda, boat dock (fisherman's dream), helicopter launch pad and many more surprises.

The island is on the Atlantic Ocean breeze. The island is only a three minute boat ride from the mainland dock and parking. Marathon Key has numerous shopping centers, fine and casual dining with never a need to dress up. Approximately two hours from Miami and only forty five minutes from Key West, you are right in the heart of the Florida Keys. And if you want to explore the surrounding reefs, you can go fishing or diving on the 21 foot Carolina skiff that's included with your rental.

Centered on the island 15 Ft. above mean high tide lays the 2500 sq.ft. Bahamian style house with nineteen sliding glass doors. Surrounding the house is a 2000 sq.ft covered veranda which gives a spectacular 360 degree view and provides you with about 5000 sq.ft. of living area. The house is three bedrooms and two baths which will accommodate nine comfortably. Open kitchen and dining area makes for easy living. The entertainment center has a LCD TV with about 95 channels for your entertainment, and the house also has a pool table for enjoyment.

The Island is surrounded by coral reef which makes water sports hard to ignore. Snorkeling and scuba diving from the island itself or and the charted coral reef just minutes away by boat. For the fisherman, this Island is ideal. Between the island and the mainland; pods of permit and bonefish thrive and the flats. World renowned tarpon fishing at the Seven Mile bridge is only a five minute boat ride to the west. To the south lies the Gulf where the deep sea angler can battle sailfish, dolphin, marlin and wahoo, or simply relax and enjoy the secluded tropical charm of the island. Watch the sun climb out of the ocean in the morning and sink to the most spectacular sunset you have ever seen.

THE SOMBRERO BEACH HOUSE

Pure Luxury...6 Bedrooms, 6 Bathrooms, Deep Water Canal with Dock, 4 Levels, Swimming Pool, Wrap around deck on every floor, Just steps from Sombrero Beach which is one of the nicest beaches in the Florida Keys. This property has every luxury you could ever want or need. Sleeps 12 comfortably. Property is located at MM50 in the Florida Keys in Marathon Key

Layout of the House...

On the bottom level is parking under the house. The 2nd floor is a master bedroom (king size bed) with private bath, 3 additional bedrooms (2 queen beds and 1 with 2 doubles) and 2 additional bathrooms on this floor as well as a huge living area with large couches, 40 inch flat screen and bar with fridge and sink and plenty of bar stools.

The 3rd Floor has another Master Bedroom with private bath (king) a huge formal dining area, another huge living room with 50" flat screen, (very comfortable couches on both floors) a furnished office and full kitchen plus another bathroom.

Each floor has a wrap around deck with furniture.There is a rooftop deck for sunning and watrching sunsets.

Outside there is a pool, jacuzzi and large patio as well as a dock on a deep water canal in case you have your own boat. The house is right next to Sombrero Beach just steps away, which is one of the nicest beaches in the Florida Keys. It has every luxury and ready for a great vacation with friends or family.
