Nari is a movement started with a motive to give every woman her right to life, liberty, security and safety. The major types of violence against women that Nari aims to address are street and public vehicle harassment, domestic violence, workplace harassment and women trafficking.

As a friend in need, we have developed the Nari mobile application with the following features:

• Dual Language feature to let you use the app in English or नेपाली version

• My Group feature to build your network of close friends and family whom you can rely on

• Help Button to ask for help from your close friends and family added in the My Group section in case of emergency.

• Walk With Me feature which will help in building your confidence through independence. With the Walk With Me feature, you will never have to walk home alone.

• Unsafe Zone Alert to inform you about high crime areas.

• Share a Word feature to let you share you stories. Share your happiness, sadness, your problems and solutions through this feature and stay empowered, fearless and motivated.

• The Report an Incident feature to let you report any incident or accident to the police along with the public. Plus point: you can stay anonymous.

• Help Alarm to seek and give help in case of emergency.

• Emergency Helplines to give you an easy access to the directory of important phone numbers.

• Daily Tips to give you that daily dose of motivation to achieve your goals, maintain your responsibilities and solve your problems.

• Defend Yourself from villains by learning self-defense techniques to.

• Information Desk to provide important information about your rights and power.
