The New2UW.com is proud to be the first locally owned and operated music and talk internet radio station, based in the Newcastle/Hunter region.

When most local media are deserting this region in terms of local content, our operating mantra is local, local, local, local and local.

We are geared to attract baby boomers, 40-plus. Sixty-five per cent of the money in Australia is held by baby boomers and the New2UW.com is aimed at being the local alternative. We play the hits of the late ‘60s, plus the hits of the ’70s and ’80s.

We are also an intelligent talk station with interviews and comments from local, national and international leaders from the community and business to politics at local, state and federal levels.

The New2UW.com will have its finger on the pulse of what’s happening regionally via our own dedicated local newsroom. Our strong on-air team will present the best music of our time as well as the most inciteful comment and authoritative news available.
