Niramay Charitable Trust

Niramay Charitable Trust is an organization established by a group of public health professionals with an intention to improve health and well-being of common people. We at Niramay strive to identify scalable solutions and applying them at community level for the larger benefit.

Our Vision is to develop a system which provides adequate and appropriate care to everyone without the consideration for their social or financial capacity to ensure healthy people in service of a nation.

Niramay Charitable Trust was formed on 25th May, 2018 and has successfully completed two years. It is registered with Charity Commissioner Gujarat with Registration Number E-2457. Niramay Charitable Trust is also registered with Income Tax Department under section 80G enabling donations to the organization to be tax free for the donors as per Income Tax Act.

In last two years we have extensively worked towards community level screening for the major public health problems in the Gujarat namely Oral Cancer, Hypertension and Diabetes. We have identified nearly 400 Oral pre-cancerous lesion patients and now helping them towards definite diagnosis through biopsy and support for the treatment. We are helping people identified with diabetes and hypertension by linking them to nearby hospitals. In coming days, under Healthy Hundred Thousands Initiative, we are planning to screen one lakh people for oral cancer, diabetes and hypertension.
