Paka narkel are members of the palm tree family (Arecaceae) and the only known species of Cocos tribe.

The term Paka narkel refers to the whole coconut palate, the seed or fruit, which is not a nut in the plant, but a nut.

The term is derived from the sixteenth-century Portuguese and Spanish word cocoa, meaning "head" or "skull" after three indentations on the coconut shell, in harmony with facial features.

Paka narkel is known for its versatility of use, from food to cosmetics to the internal meats of mature seeds, as well as the coconut milk extracted from it forms a regular part of many people's tropical and subcutaneous diets.

Coconut is different from other fruits because they contain a lot of transparent liquid in the Paka narkel called "coconut water" or "coconut juice".

Mature, ripe coconuts can be used as edible seeds, or processed for oil and tree milk from meat, charcoal from hard shells, and coated with fibrous well. Dried coconut meat is called copra, and the oil and milk derived from it are commonly used in cooking - especially fried - as well as soap and cosmetics. Tight shells, fibrous Paka narkeland long pinnate leaves can be used as components to create a variety of products for furnishings and decoration.

Paka narkel also has cultural and religious significance in certain societies, especially in India, where it is used in Hindu customs.
