Share your favorite places by becoming a local search engine. Works offline too!

See your own places of interest on a map: your favorite restaurants, your friends' homes, your planned holidays' best spots, you name it!

Then share them.

Add places

You can either:

* manually create a new place by clicking on the map or by using the address search

* use the nearby search and find a place already referenced by an external search engine

For each place, you can customize icon, color, website, phone, opening hours, ...

The places are available offline.

Gather places into lists

You can gather places into place lists: todo list, favorite restaurants, any list!

Those lists are private to you by default.

Place List Sharing

You can publish any of your place lists: that will provide you with an internet permanent link for that list.

When you share this permanent link with your friends or family:

* they will see the map, all the places and their details on a website

* they will also be given the opportunity to include this list into their own Pastamapp data, as an External List

External Lists

When you receive a permanent link from a Pastamapp friend, you get all the places shared by your friend.

Thoses external places can then be displayed as your own, on the same map.

External Lists are available offline.

Simple Place Sharing

There is another way to share places: just click on the clipboard button, and you'll be able to send to your friends a text with all the places details.

Location Portfolio

Create a Location each time you want to focus on a distinct City, State or Country.

You can download the maps associated to a Location, for future offline use

You can easily change Locations.

Your Locations are available offline.

Offline Maps

Maps are available offline because either:

- You explicitly downloaded the Maps related to a Location

- Each part of the Map that you see is implicitly downloaded and then stored on your device

Use the Space Manager in order to check how big the Maps get, and possibly to delete unused Maps.
