Take advantage of the IRS Form 1098-T mobile application to complete and file your Tuition Statement.

This app was designed and launched by PDFfiller to provide users with the option to work on-the-go and organize their document workflow in the most convenient way possible. Form 1098-T has to be filed by educational institutions to report payments for qualified tuition.

If you upload and open the application, you'll see that it's a small program containing several versions of Form 1098-T in PDF format - all of which you can fill out online. By default, the latest version will open, but you can always choose from the dropdown list any previous ones if necessary.

The blank consists of six pages that you can overview by tapping on the Pages icon on the lower panel. Three pages of six are three different examples: Copy A is for the Internal Revenue Service Center; Copy B is for the student; and Copy C is for the filer. The other three pages are the 1098-T instructions.

To complete the digital form using our tax management app, you’ll have to follow a series of steps:

✓ Start completing the relevant copy. If you’re a student, you have to fill out Copy C; if you’re a representative of the educational institution or some organization that provides tuition services, you have to complete Copy B. In order to avoid any penalties, you should double-check with the IRS on how to file Copy A correctly.

✓ Follow the prompts that will guide you throughout the process of filling out the document. They indicate the sequence of fields that have to be completed. The prompts will look like a big blue arrow and fields are highlighted with white and framed with green. A red asterisk in the top right corner means that this field is obligatory to complete.

✓ There are different types of fillable fields: such as for text, for dates, or for checkboxes (when you have a set of options to choose from). The app will automatically guide you and provide you with the necessary tools.

✓ You can also redact the blank yourself by adding objects such as text, lines, text boxes and pictures. The objects added by you can be adjusted: change their size, style or delete them if you like.

✓ Upon completion of your Form 1098 T, you can print it out or send it by email. The app gives you the option of not having to enter in the address manually - you can just take it from your contacts. You can also CC this blank to another user.
