PDX Art Trekker showcases the rich and diverse collection of public art on display in and around Portland, Oregon. This app displays more than 475 pieces of public art. The app shows you the location of the art along with detailed information about each piece. The gallery feature lets you easily view all the thumbnails and you can save your favorites in a separate gallery. The nearby feature displays the art that is closest to your location. You will discover art you never knew about hidden inside public buildings, such as fire stations and court houses.
Museums and galleries are also displayed and more information about them are just a tap away.
The civic data set was provided by the Regional Art and Culture Council. The museums and galleries are provided by Google Places.
