Purcellville’s first two Wine and Food Festivals have featured over a dozen local wineries boasting prestigious awards and recognitions – and nearly a dozen local restaurants and food trucks with mouth-watering cuisines. 2014′s festival promises another lineup of top-notch award winning selections.

Wineries and vineyards will sample a wide array of varietals helping you taste and learn about each one. If you already know your favorite label, you may purchase wine by the glass or bottle at each tasting booth. Or if you prefer something other than wine, you can take this opportunity to visit local breweries and the distillery to sample and make purchases from them as well. Grab a meal or appetizer to compliment your beverage selections from one of the many fine local food purveyors and dine alfresco style while you take in the musical entertainment and family activities.

The music lineup has been foot-stomping, danceable with 3-4 different regional music acts at each festival. The 2013 Festival hosted American Idol contestant Christian Lopez and Joe Taxi and many other local favorites.
