Both institutions fall under the umbrella of the foundations Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen Ora Et Labora and Yayasan Pendidikan Sekolah Bhinneka which are founded by the late Mr. William Soeryajaya (A renowned entrepreneur in Indonesia and founder of Astra Group) and Mr. Radius Prawiro (The former Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia).
