Problems of line-making techniques

In general there are two streams of path-making techniques that are widely adopted today, namely traditional and modern streams. Traditionally making the path in principle is to make a path while climbing. This technique tends to be worth the adventure because the passage to be passed is completely new, without safety, without a try first. This traditional technique developed in Europe until the 70s, but is now still embraced by traditional American climbers.
