SHIELD helps sports associations collect pre-screening information from players, parents, and coaches prior to an event entry to ensure compliance with today's pre-screening measures that are either recommended or mandated in most jurisdictions. It does this through pre-entry/self-reported surveys administered through the SHIELD app and optional data collection from thermal imaging cameras.

As sports venues adapt to new protocols, executives and administrators can supplement and reinforce their risk mitigation strategies using novel technology applications and support. Through the combination of a self-reported survey and the objective body temperature measurement, a "Pre-Entry Health Profile" is generated and stored in a secure HIPAA/PHIPA compliant environment. Associations, teams, and facilities can securely track safe entries and exits to and from their facility while maintaining the privacy of their employees, players, and guests.

SHIELD provides added security with anonymized and encrypted data that is kept in its originating country in accordance with HIPAA/PHIPA regulations. What does that mean? For Canadians, their data remains in Canada, and US data is kept in US data centers for your protection.
