SCG’s 2020 Annual Conference, Meeting the Movement, invites funders to embody adaptive and authentic leadership, to reimagine our role as stewards of resources and power, and to integrate community-based solutions for a better future.

The past few months have laid bare long-standing systemic inequities that threaten the livelihood of our nonprofit sector, humanity, and democracy. Philanthropy has channeled a new and deeper level of resiliency than ever before. We have a vital role to play in ensuring an equitable social and economic recovery for the communities we serve.

How can philanthropy learn from the deep-rooted resiliency of our communities while building our own tenacity to eradicate structural injustices? How do we shift the power derived from wealth and influence toward marginalized communities so that we can deeply listen and amplify their wisdom?
