Classic Spades is played with four players in pairs. One team has red and the other team has blue color.

Deck:

Standard 52-card deck is used (without Joker).

Object:

To win the number of tricks that your team bids. Reaching to the specified “Game Ending Point” will end the game. Team with the highest score will win.

Rank of Suits:

Spades are always trump (highest rank). Other suits have no intrinsic value during play, but a card of the suit led in the current trick will beat a card of any other suit except a Spade.

Rank of cards:

Highest to lowest: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
