Mrs. SUMITA SATARKAR, a founder director of Swasthya Santulan Medicare Pvt.Ltd., to begin her career as an acupuncturist since 1994, when she acquired D.A.M.S. (Diploma of Alternative medicine) and never looked back. She excelled in her academics as a Gold Medalist, D.Ac., N.D. ( Doctor Of Naturopathy) and a Registered Medical Practioner ( Alternative Medicine) till date. A rigorous TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION from various institutions from India and abroad such as, Advance Acupuncture, Pulse Diagnosis in acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Chrono Acupuncture, Blood letting therapy and management of stroke, Infertility and Acupuncture, Electro Acupuncture For Musculo skeletal problems, Clinical Internship in Diabetes and Management of Cardio vascular disorders, Post Graduate Diploma in Naturopathy and Yoga, has given Sumita an additional insight into her own research work.She has completed the advanced clinical internship with advanced training in acupuncture in WANGJING hospital of China academy of chinese medical sciences,Beijing China.

Sumita’s PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE of more than 21 Years as practicing consultant of Acupuncture & Pulse diagnosis has cured and brought wellbeing to almost 3000 + acute and chronic patients.

Sumita is a proud AWARDEE of Mother Teresa National Award, for the kind service rendered to the patients. Out of many such awards few to mention here are, Asia Acupuncture excellence from Bangkok, Acupuncture Excellence India Award, Rashtriya Acupuncture Ratna., Rajiv Gandhi Excellence National Award, Pragati Mahila rajyastariya purskar, Kartutva Gaurav Purskar , Gaurav Award, Dhanvantari Award, Health Excellence Award etc.

Sumita’s RESEARCH CONTRIBUTION comprises of more than 800 lectures and paper presentations creating acupuncture awareness in different social organizations in India as well as Overseas. She has conducted Training Workshops for Maratha Federation of Mauritius as well as various elite institutes in India.
